8/21/25 Communication from Ms. Shana
Hello Musical Theatre & Drama families!
Ms. Shana here! What an amazing first week of classes! Im looking forward to working with each of your children this season, we have a great year ahead.
Below you will find a list of our performance dates for the year and a list of the pieces your child will be working on for the FALL semester. As well as week 1 homework.
It’s is important for you to know these classes are not “just attend” classes. We work towards three performances between the two semesters, so they will need to do that extra work at home to ensure they are able to give their best not only for themselves but for their classmates as well. I want to make sure your child is able to have fun and experience growth, so it is important they familiarize themselves with the songs and scripts they get as quickly as possible. That way we can really focus on the details in class.
Your child will always have homework in these classes. Every week they should be working on memorizing their materials and practicing what we blocked, vocally worked on or what was choreographed that week. You can find all practice materials (Tracks, Choreography videos, Scripts, etc) at this link www.lochwood.info/groupclass
Performance Info
If your child won’t be able to be in these performances please let me know ASAP, so I can plan properly during classes. The majority of materials they will learn each semester will be for these performances.
Call Times are on the individual pages:
Winter Recital
December 6th, 2025 @ 1pm at Westview Baptist Church
Spring Recital

Repertoire for Fall Semester
Below is each classes pieces for Fall Semester. These pieces will be performed at our Winter Recital. The only pieces not being performed will be Drama’s monologue work, that will be for just in class development. They will only perform short plays for recital.
I recommend your child having a folder or binder to hold all their practice materials in. They will receive most of it the first and second week of classes and will need to bring it weekly.
Again you will always be able to find practice materials here (www.lochwood.info/groupclass) and will be notified when updated.
