Hi Narnia families!

We had such a great first read through and got blocked till page 20.

Your child has homework this whole week.

Memorize lines!

All lines need to be memorized by Thursday morning when they get to camp.

I will be sending out costume inspiration tomorrow. We have purchased quite a few prop and costume pieces but you all will need to provide your own costume for your child’s character or characters. All children casted as multiple roles need to have black base outfits.

Girls black bike shorts or leggings and black tank top or leotard. Boys black bike shorts and black tank or tshirt. Try to use what you can from home. In no shape or form do we want you to go spend a bunch of money on something. Thrift On 46 and Goodwill in Sanford tends to have great 2nd hand costumes. If you are having any trouble coming up with something once inspo pics go out please let us know and we will help where we can.

Reminders:

Show is Saturday at Salvation Army in Sanford at 2pm

Drop off is still 9am on Saturday but at Salvation Army.

Before the first day of camp, please complete the Camp Safety Form. This form is required for all campers and helps us provide a safe and successful camp experience.

Camp Student Hub
Our Camp Student Hub can be found at: www.lochwood.info/summer
The Student Hub will be our primary source for daily communication throughout camp. You will also find important camp information, announcements, and practice resources.

Character Role Auditions
Our auditions will be virtual. Please prepare your 30-60 second dramatic monologue, record, and upload by Friday, July 3rd. There is an upload link on the Student Hub website.

Please remember that auditions are simply a tool to help us place students in roles that best fit their strengths. Everyone who participates in the camp will be involved in the show. We have many students who are new to acting, and auditions allow us to hear each student's speaking voice so we can create the best possible experience for everyone.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your child's theatrical journey. We can't wait to see them grow in confidence, creativity, and teamwork as they bring this beloved story to life on stage!

If you have any questions before camp begins, please don't hesitate to reach out.

See you in Narnia!
