2025 Showcase Concert

Day of Showcase Information

  • Please be respectful of the show we are creating. No non-performers are allowed in the venue until doors are open at 6pm.

  • Students are not allowed to leave the venue once checked in. There will be some downtime to your day as other students are rehearsing. Please bring a book, tablet, charger, headphones, etc. to keep yourself busy during the downtime. 

  • Students, Please be respectful to those rehearsing by entering the facility quietly and take a seat until your turn. No running or leaving the auditorium without speaking to a teacher.

  • Students arriving earlier in the day may bring a lunchbox lunch, water and snacks to nibble on during downtime as well. Please remind students to be respectful to the venue and keep things picked up and clean.

  • Please, do NOT show up to rehearsal in your show clothes/costumes. Bring them in a separate bag or laundry basket labeled with your name clearly. Wear regular comfy everyday clothes to the venue during rehearsals. There will be a time for all students to change before the start of the show after dinner.

  • You are responsible for keeping all items accounted for in your labeled bag/laundry basket. Lochwood is not responsible for any lost items.

  • Restrooms and water fountains are available during downtime. You may bring a refillable water bottle with your name clearly labeled on it if you choose.

  • Dinner of Little Ceasar’s pizza and water will be provided to the students except Tiny Thespians. Any food allergies or dietary needs must be arranged to be delivered at 4:30pm dinner time. There is no refrigerator access at the venue.

  • Students who need to take medication during the day, please let us know.

  • We will have Children’s Tylenol for those who get headaches. Please let us know if it is ok to administer it.

  • All students (soloists, group classes, ensembles) EXCEPT TINY THESPIANS will need the same outfit for the finale of the show.

    • Colorful top and color bottom (NO logos/patterns and no dresses), sneakers (NO CROCS!)

    • Blue, Red, Green, Pink, Purple, Orange and Yellow. Stay away from neutrals and patterns. Color block clothing and stripes are ok though.

  • All students MUST check out at the end of the show.

VERY IMPORTANT!

There are no restrooms backstage and very limited changing rooms. Please wear layers (i.e. tank tops, bike shorts, etc.) underneath your costumes so that you can change in open spaces if need be.

12:30pm - Vocal Ensemble

1:00pm - Soloists

4:45pm - Tiny Thespians

5 to 5:45 - Dinner

5:45 - Get dressed and ready

Doors open 6-6:30

Show starts 6:30

Call time means the LATEST a student should be at the venue.
